Adventure Training
The Air Training Corps’ aim for Adventure Training is to encourage and foster the development of character, leadership and physical qualities among Cadets.

Adventure Training forms an essential part of the Air Cadet's training syllabus. As well as helping cadets forge new friendships, adventure training enables all cadets to show off their leadership qualities. Cadets may also participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, where any practice and experience they gain with their Squadron will become invaluable.

Many Squadrons in the Wing undertake local training weekends which provide cadets with the basic training required to develop the cadet’s individual skills. An example of something we do is. Our squadron teams up with Tetbury detached flight to take part in Night Hawk a weekend full of fun and huge challenges where we gain information that is important for a night exercise while battling against each other to be knighted the winners and to take home the trophy until next year.
